This country tries to ensure that every man can exercise their civil rights and have a fair trial. However, the forging of the youth’s signature waived his arraignment so that he was not aware of the charges against him and with no pre-trial discovery motions or depositions from witnesses he went straight to trial with no defense and was not given the opportunity to use evidence nor prepare for his own defense. It has been almost 2 years and my son still remains in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Railroading Our Youth should never be accepted at any judicial level in America. What happened here should be recognized as a criminal offense and those behind it should be identified and charged accordingly. What happened to my son can happen to any other youth.
